2022 Honda Civic Review:
"The 2022 Honda Civic continues to set the benchmark in the compact sedan segment, offering a compelling blend of style, performance, and advanced features. With its sleek redesign and impressive technology, the Civic remains a top choice for drivers seeking both practicality and excitement in a small car.
The 2022 Civic offers two engine options: a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder. The base 2.0-liter engine delivers a solid 158 horsepower, providing adequate power for daily commuting. For those desiring more spirited performance, the turbocharged 1.5-liter engine produces 180 horsepower and offers brisk acceleration with excellent fuel efficiency. Both engines are paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) that delivers smooth and responsive shifts. The Civic's handling is precise, with a well-tuned suspension that provides a balanced ride, making it enjoyable to drive on both city streets and winding roads.
Inside, the 2022 Civic showcases a modern and upscale cabin with a clean, minimalist design. High-quality materials and thoughtful touches elevate the interior, giving it a premium feel that rivals more expensive vehicles. The seats are well-cushioned and supportive, offering ample comfort for both short trips and long journeys. Rear passengers benefit from generous legroom and headroom, making the Civic a practical choice for families or carpooling. The trunk space is also impressive for a compact car, providing 14.8 cubic feet of cargo capacity.
The Civic comes equipped with a wealth of standard features, including a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a suite of advanced safety technologies through Honda Sensing. This package includes adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking, enhancing both convenience and peace of mind. Higher trims offer additional amenities such as a larger 9-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone charging, a premium Bose audio system, and leather upholstery.
One of the standout aspects of the 2022 Civic is its focus on safety. The vehicle has received top ratings from both the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), making it one of the safest options in its class. Honda's commitment to safety is evident in the Civic's robust suite of driver-assistance features, which come standard across all trims.
The exterior design of the 2022 Civic marks a departure from the aggressive styling of its predecessor, adopting a more refined and sophisticated look. The streamlined profile, sharp LED headlights, and clean lines give the Civic a modern and mature appearance that appeals to a wide range of buyers. The overall aesthetic is both eye-catching and timeless, ensuring that the Civic will age gracefully over the years.
Overall, the 2022 Honda Civic delivers a winning combination of style, performance, comfort, and safety. It continues to set the standard in the compact sedan category, offering exceptional value for money. Whether you prioritize fuel efficiency, advanced technology, or a fun driving experience, the Civic checks all the boxes, making it a smart choice for a wide range of drivers."

RECALL NOTICE
What is a recall:
A safety recall involving a motor vehicle or an item of motor vehicle equipment can be independently conducted by a manufacturer or ordered by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). In either case, the manufacturer must file a public report describing the safety-related defect or noncompliance with a Federal motor vehicle safety standard, the involved vehicle/equipment population, the major events that resulted in the recall determination, a description of the remedy, and a schedule for the recall. NHTSA monitors each safety recall to ensure the manufacturers provide owners safe, free, and effective remedies according to the Safety Act and Federal regulations. Manufacturers are obligated to attempt to notify owners of recalled products. For vehicles, that means manufacturers merge their own records of vehicle purchasers with current state vehicle registration information. For equipment, where state registration records do not exist, manufacturers are obligated to notify their distribution chain and known purchasers of the recalled equipment. However, even if you do not receive a notification, if your vehicle, child restraint, or other item of equipment is involved in a safety recall, the manufacturer is obligated to provide a free remedy.
